I'm just not sure about ordering jewelry online

If you are concerned about ordering a piece you haven't seen in person, please contact us - we are happy to discuss color, size and offer suggestions.   We have found that certain pieces make particularly good gifts, so contact us at  info@sabinafurstdesigns.com if you are struggling with your selection.

If my order is a gift, will it look special?

What is gold fill?

Gold fill, also known as rolled gold, is an actual layer of gold pressure bonded to another metal such as brass or copper.  Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as gold filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating.

Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant.    In fact, anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled without worries of any allergic reaction to the jewelry.  Gold filled jewelry is an economical alternative to solid gold. Gold-Filled items are generally considered lifetime products, and the gold layer will not wear off,  flake off, rub off or turn colors as it will in electroplated products.

Gold filled jewelry is often called the wave of the future because it offers all the same characteristics as solid gold such as strength, durability and beauty….but at a fraction of the cost!

What is vermeil?

Gold vermeil is an all-precious metal as it is an overlay of 24k gold over a base of sterling silver.  Vermeil will eventually patina over time.  Extra care must be taken when wearing gold vermeil.  Please refer to our jewelry care guide for how to care for your gold vermeil jewelry.
